| I belong to several Forums, News Letters, PSP sites, et.. I am always seeing requests for those Tutorials that are ( the hardest to find ) the " Cream Of The Crop ". In many instance's, the person requesting the Tutorial is sent to several different sites, and they can choose how they want to go from there. For newer user's, this can be a difficult decision. The links below represent what I believe to be the best of Most Requested Tutorials, the easiest to follow and execute..Enjoy. |

" Creating A Background " EVERYBODY ask's for this tutorial, but very few people know where to tell them to go to find the answer. This site not only answers how, but has a lot of excellent choices for a design. Creating Backgrounds " Blending Multiple Photos / Graphics Into One " If someone were to ask me what this means, I would answer with one word, Collage. We all have some great photos of individual family members, friends, buddies at work, et..Wouldn't it be nice to be able put a group of them onto a single background, blend it all together and have it look like it was taken with the whole group at the same time, and then frame it? Or how about those baby / child /adult photos of the same person, all in one frame..Sound Good? Blending Photos " Instant 3D Text " This is a great effect for making your text really stand out. There are many instances when you would want to create this effect..Page Headers, Banners, Awards, Logos..on and on. Most folks will tell you, if you want to do it right, its necessary to buy a software program, oh no, not true. Instant 3D Text " Rollover Buttons / Images " " One of the new web features in PSP 7 is the Image Slicer. This tool gives you the ability to create rollover images for web pages." Rollover buttons, are those images that look like they go Up and Down when you put your cursor on one ( neat effect ). Rollover Buttons " Watermarking Photos / Images " You've taken some never before seen photos with your camera, or you've created a graphic that you want to show the world. You're very proud of them, and you don't want anybody claiming them as being taken / or created by them. How do you protect yourself from letting this happen? Watermarking " PSP's Plastic Text " From the Author.." I was asked if I could convert a Photoshop tutorial that had this cool looking plastic effect for text. The problem with the effect was that it relied on large text to get the effect. Well....a single letter that takes up an entire web page really isn't practical. So, after days of experimenting to create the effect for smaller text, the practical end result is presented for your experimentation. " Plastic Text " Graphics Under Glass " From the Author.." The appearance of glass is one of those techniques that everybody seems to want, but no one really knows how to go about it." Very classy effect for text, or just about any graphic or photo you want to place under glass. And surprisingly easy to do. Glass " Flying Text " It's just what it says it is. Your text has the wind behind it, and looks like it flying though the air. Flying Text " Creating An Inner Bevel " From The Author.."In this tutorial, we'll show you how to use Paint Shop Pro's Inner Bevel effect to create smooth 3D graphics and text. "3D Text Bevel " Text Around The World " I know you've seen a picture of the globe with text going around it saying something wonderful, or whatever. Here's how you do it. Text Around Anything " Text On A Circular Path " OK, last one about text on a path, promise. But you'll be glad I placed a link to it. I've used this tut over and over so much, I know it by heart. You've seen advertising that has the name of the person's business in a half circle over the top, their name curved upwards along the bottom, perfectly..how'd they do that? Don't get discouraged because it's more than one page, they just print big :) Text Around A Circle " Vector Drawing " You wake up, you think to yourself, self..I sure would like to be able to draw cartoons ( next tut down ). The first thing you must learn to do is create what's called " Vector " shapes...From The Author.." Tutorials and tips for working with the vector drawing tools in Paint Shop Pro 6 and up. Learn how to draw shapes and lines, edit shapes by manipulating nodes, work with bezier curves, put text on a curve, understand strokes and fills, and create simple drawings from scratch." Vector Shapes " Ron's Toons " You will learn more about using Vector Tools here than you will realize. Why, because you're going to have a ball doing this man's tutorials. Its all about Cartoon Art, and it's a blast. Creating Cartoons " Text With A Cutout Effect " You've seen text carved into lots of things, wood for instance...Really nice looking. Now you can see how easy it is to create this effect yourself ( and it really is easy ). Right now you're thinking to yourself, I don't plan to do any wood carving any time soon, probably not, but you WILL use this tut. Cutout Text " Colorizing Line Art " You're an artist with a pencil, you've drawn this most excellent picture, and now you want to color it.
